Guns and ammo

Has anybody seen any of the short shotgun shells. They dont have the wadding or whatever. Seem to hold hold the the cap, brass , Powder, and shot. Nothing extra. Was told they fire just as good as a regular sized shell. Only good to use in a single shot.

I tried some of them and they don't hold a pattern as well as the 2 3/4 and 3 inch shells do. Also, and I used a single shot, they seem to leave more debris in the barrel and the chambor. That is what the wadding is suppose to do, clean some of the debris out of the barrel.
